the upcoming opening (spring 2020) of its new space
La Résidence - Le Tremblay
Near Le Perche, in the village of Orgères (Normandy), the Château du Tremblay offers, through its three buildings, including a main building dating from the 18th century, a total surface area of 850 m2 in the heart of a 14-hectare grounds.
Articulated around its three buildings, La Résidence - Le Tremblay will be both:
* A place of reception and exhibition. The Residence - Le Tremblay will enable Galerie Christophe Gaillard to welcome its visitors in a prestigious setting and to accommodate its guests in one of the ten bedrooms located in the carefully restored castle (one year of work) and in which art, architecture and design will find their place in the heart of the remarkable Norman landscape.
* A place of creation. La Résidence - Le Tremblay will be dedicated to artists residencies which will lead to exhibitions and talks. The artists will be selected by a professionals's board, composed by collectors and art critics.
* A place of outdoors sculptures exhibition. La Résidence - Le Tremblay will take advantage of its 14-hectare grounds to propose a temporary ourdoors sculptures exhibition program.
It will be a lively place that look alike us, bearer of the identity that is ours.
A place that will enable us to welcome, without any degrees of hierarchy: friends, collectors, artists, critics, curators, institutionals... and to only 180 kms from Paris.
