Dans de nombreuses œuvres liées à l’ombre, l’artiste (ou son ombre) apparaît et exécute un « acte ». Uematsu a mentionné les actes suivants comme étant les actes que l’on peut faire avec un doigt : pointer du doigt, mesurer la longueur, mesurer la hauteur, faire un angle,...

Ainsi, de nombreuses œuvres liées à l’ombre ont été conçues pour reconsidérer le « regard » à travers les « actes » susmentionnés.

In many shadow-related works, the artist (or his shadow) appears and performs an “act”. Uematsu has mentioned the following as acts that can be performed with a finger: pointing, measuring length, measuring height, making an angle, etc.
