Tirdad HASHEMI IRN, b. 1991

Born in Teheran in 1991, Tirdad Hashemi lives and works between Paris and Berlin.

 

In 2024, they were chosen for the residency of the Collection Pinault. In 2019, they were one of the finalists for the Bourse Révélations Emerige.

 

Their work has been shown in numerous group shows, at the 17th Lyon Biennial in 2024, at the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles in Paris in 2024, at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris in 2024, at the FRAC Ile-de-France and the Fondation Fiminco in 2023, at the Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris in 2023, at the CRÉDAC in Ivry-sur-Seine in 2022.  They have had several solo exhibitions, notably at gb agency, and at the Galerie Édouard Manet of the École Municipale des Beaux-arts de Gennevilliers.

 

Their work can be found in several major public and private collections, including the Pinault Collection, the Musée d'Art Moderne et Contemporain de Saint-Étienne, the FRAC Sud, the Elia Mourtzanou Collection (HG), and the Bettina Böttinger Collection (DE).
