« Photino » est une série de portraits réalisés à la caméra thermique, qui révèle les géographies de l’invisible de corps en transition entre plusieurs mondes. Cet autoportrait affirme le point de départ autobiographique de « Dami ». Le tirage est augmenté d’une sculpture en néon (un gaz fossile issu de l’explosion d’une supernova, lié au cosmos et au fantomatique) qui évoque tout à la fois l’Amazone et l’esprit-serpent-liane, écho à d’autres formes de vie travaillant au cœur de ces corps en transe. Il est cerclé d’un cadre de bois brûlé - évoquant l’Amazonie carbonisée par la déforestation et le changement climatique, signe du désastre de notre société pyrocène.

“Photino” is a series of portraits created with a thermal camera, revealing the invisible geographies of bodies in transition between multiple worlds. This self-portrait marks the autobiographical starting point of “Dami.” The print is enhanced by a neon sculpture — a fossil gas born from the explosion of a supernova, connected to both the cosmos and the spectral — which evokes at once the Amazon and the spirit-snake-liana, an echo of other life forms working within these bodies in trance. It is encircled by a frame of burnt wood, evoking the Amazon reduced to ashes by deforestation and climate change — a sign of the disaster of our pyrocene society.
