Galerie Christophe Gaillard supports and encourages research in the arts. Since 2016, it has progressively allocated a substantial proportion of its activities to this domain, such as the cataloguing and promotion of the archives of the historical artists it represents, catalogues raisonnés, public discussions, workshops, monographic and collective publications, exhibitions with diverse perspectives, partnerships with cultural and scientific institutions in France and worldwide, residency grants for artists and authors...

The gallery's primary mission is to contribute to a better understanding of the works its exhibited artists, to their recognition and to their influence. It also aims to broaden its field of experimentation and thought, to become an active and lively place, clearly identified in the research ecosystem.
