Daniel POMMEREULLE: L'expérience intérieure 1960 - 1962

As a great retrospective is held this summer at the Centre Georges Pompidou on the Beat Generation and the history of this subversive, literary and artistic movement born after WWII in the United States, our show at the Galerie Christophe Gaillard is an opportunity to rediscover Daniel Pommereulle's early works. As a major figure of the artistic scene then, he participated in Allen Kaprow and Jean-Jacques Lebel's first happenings and was part of that generation of artists who used their bodies « as walking labs ».
