Eugen Gabritchevsky: Vision des mondes intérieurs

14 February - 4 April 2026 Bruxelles / Main space

The Christophe Gaillard Gallery is delighted to present the first exhibition devoted to Eugen Gabritschevsky in its Brussels space, and on this occasion to (re)introduce the work of this singular artist, whose practice—long kept confidential—now occupies an important place in the history of twentieth-century art.

In Vision of Inner Worlds, the gallery unveils a rare group of works on paper from the Daniel Cordier Collection (1920–2020), the essential patron and art dealer whose visionary eye shaped the artistic landscape of his time. Created by Gabritschevsky between the 1930s and the 1960s, these works bear witness to an extraordinary sensitivity—an artistic practice that served as both an outlet and a guiding force in his solitude. Composed of hybrid figures, anthropomorphic entities, and shifting organic structures, they reveal a teeming mental universe in which science, metamorphosis, and inner visions intertwine.
