Isabelle LE MINH

Podcast ACTE D'ARTS - Œuvre en partitions – Question d’interprétations (Université Paris 8)

Last June, Isabelle Le Minh was invited to the University of Paris 8 to participate in the podcast series Actes Darts - a work - an artist - a notion - a conversation, following Melik Ohanian, Anri Sala, Joan Fontcuberta and many others.

Conceived and directed by Michelle Debat, with the support of the AI-AC (Arts of Images - Contemporary Art) research laboratory of the University of Paris 8, the podcast devotes each episode to an artist "around a particular theoretical notion opening (on) to questionings in play in contemporary art". This interview, the 6th of the series "works in partition", develops around the questions of interpretations...

ABOUT THIS PODCAST:

Isabelle Le Minh, an engineer by training, graduated from the ENSP in Arles, is a visual photographer, whose singular and demanding approach consists of questioning and re-actualizing both the so-called fundamentals of the history of photography as well as the uses, processes, cameras and photographic techniques, but also the emblematic works of artists, who have contributed to inscribe photography in the field of art. His work, with its conceptual scope and polysemous interpretation, has been the subject of numerous solo and group exhibitions in emblematic places of photography and contemporary art (Mois de la photo Montréal, CPIF Pontault Combault, RIP Arles...) and is present in important private and public collections (DZ Bank, Neuflize OBC, Frac Hauts de France, Dorfman Projects NY...)
