"Society's treatment of plants is a mirror image of itself", as the botanical artist Lois Weinberger* liked to say. Her work is an invitation to look differently at what we call the vagrants or the or invasive plants, which we call "crazy" or "bad", i.e. without any or "bad", i.e. worthless or flawed.
Denigrated and underestimated, these plants are often condemned: to be uprooted or chemically destroyed. The exhibition Weeds! brings together recent works that, involving photography, venture into the living and symbolic the living and symbolic world of these weeds. These plants grow and regrow everywhere and at will, in the interstices and wastelands, in and wastelands, areas that are often abandoned by man and become become spaces of freedom and creativity.
