On the occasion of its bicentenary, Ferme Saint Siméon is honored to welcome artist Julien des Monstiers for a residency from March 17 to 30, 2025. Under the guidance of Philippe Platel, General and Artistic Director of the Normandie Impressionniste Festival, this initiative marks the first in a long series of artist residencies to be held in the coming years.
Ferme Saint Siméon
Ferme Saint Siméon holds a unique place in the history of art. It was here, in the 19th century, that Boudin, Jongkind, Corot, Courbet, Monet, and many others came to "paint en plein air," turning the modest inn run by Mère Toutain into the must-visit meeting place at the heart of the artistic revolution of Impressionism.
Nestled in the heart of Normandy, Ferme Saint Siméon is now a five-star Relais & Châteaux hotel, which has upheld an exceptional tradition of hospitality and gastronomy for nearly 200 years. It is also the only establishment in Normandy to be awarded two MICHELIN Keys—an honor recognizing the most outstanding stays.
