SMITH develops an undisciplined body of work at the crossroads of worlds, exploring the thresholds between the visible and the invisible, the human and the more-than-human, science and spirituality. Installations, films, and performances form a practice where technologies (thermal cameras, implants, spatial devices) and rituals (meditation, trance, dreaming) intertwine. Their work investigates the body as a site of metamorphosis and hybridization. Featured in the collections of the Centre Pompidou and exhibited at the Palais de Tokyo and the Rencontres d’Arles, SMITH will have a solo exhibition at MAC VAL in 2026.
