The Galerie Christophe Gaillard is delighted to announce the upcoming opening of its new space Galerie Christophe Gaillard: “La Résidence – Le Tremblay”

Not far from the Perche natural park, in the commune of Orgères in Normandy, the Château du Tremblay, with its three buildings⎯including the main estate dating from the 18th century⎯boasts 850 square metres nestled in a magnificent 14-hectare park.

Making use of the three buildings, “La Résidence – Le Tremblay” will include:

    * A reception and exhibition space. La Résidence - Le Tremblay will provide the Galerie Christophe Gaillard with a prestigious setting to receive visitors, as well as accommodation for its guests in one of the ten skilfully refurbished rooms of the château, where (after a year of restoration work) art, architecture and design converge in the heart of the Normandy countryside.

    * A space for creation. La Résidence - Le Tremblay will host artist residencies, giving rise to exhibitions and encounters. The artists will be selected by a jury of art critics and collectors.

    * An outdoor sculpture exhibition space. La Résidence - Le Tremblay will take advantage of the 14-hectare park to establish a programme for the temporary exhibition of outdoor sculptures.

  • * La Résidence - Le Tremblay will also provide storage for part of the gallery’s stock. The Galerie Christophe Gaillard: “La Résidence - Le Tremblay” will be an exceptional reception venue for guests to meet and gather in a semi-private setting devoted entirely to art and good living. The 14-hectare park, composed of woods and meadows, will be home to a sculpture park whose opening exhibition, at the beginning of spring, will celebrate the arrival of brighter days.

In this meeting place that reflects who we are, that bears our identity, friends, collectors, artists, critics, curators and commissioners will be welcomed, without hierarchy. And only 180 km from Paris.
Steeped in art, books and design and immersed in a sumptuous natural environment, the venue itself promises to become a complete work of art.
