Nathalie Herschdorfer (1972, Switzerland) is an exhibition curator and art and photography historian. She was appointed director of Photo Elysée, the cantonal museum for photography (Lausanne, Switzerland), in 2022.

Previously she was director of the Musée des Beaux-Arts du Locle where she exhibited numerous artists, including Louise Bourgeois, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Todd Hido, Stanley Kubrick, Vik Muniz, Alex Prager, Viviane Sassen, Hiroshi Sugimoto and Andy Warhol. Artistic director of the Alt.+1000 Festival dedicated to contemporary photography, she also leads several exhibition projects on the international scene. In 2021, she is curator for Paris Photo of the program Elles X Paris Photo dedicated to women artists. Very active in contemporary photography, she regularly intervenes at the international level as a curator and lecturer. She teaches the history of photography at the École cantonale d'art de Lausanne (ECAL) and is the author of several books, including Le Dictionnaire de la photographie (Éditions de La Martinière, 2015), Construire l'image - Le Corbusier et la photographie (Textuel, 2012).

 

Christine Desmoulins is a journalist, architecture critic and curator of several exhibitions. She is a contributing editor for several magazines.

Among her works, Villas modernes en Banlieue Ouest, 1900-1940 (Éditions Alternatives), Maisons des bords de mer, Living by the sea (Le Moniteur/Birkhauser), Scénographies d'Architectes, (Éditions du Pavillon de l'Arsenal), Bernard Zehrfuss (Éditions du Patrimoine) and Bernard Zehrfuss, le musée dans la colline (Silvana Éditoriale). She is also an active member of the Association culturelle Eileen Gray - Étoile de Mer - Le Corbusier.

 

Historian of contemporary art, Audrey Bazin has directed for eight years the three spaces of La Galerie Particulière specialized in photography and drawing. She has developed numerous collaborations and artistic dialogues through "cartes blanches", group exhibitions, publications, the extension of institutional networks, collectors and press, and the promotion of artists' funds. Audrey Bazin then expanded her skills in human management, business management and human relations as General Manager of the Domaine de Fontenille, a luxury Relais & Châteaux hotel.

 

In March 2021, Audrey Bazin joined the Christophe Gaillard Gallery as Director of External Relations and Associated Projects. She also develops the gallery's photo department. In 2022, she was appointed member of the Paris Photo Selection Committee. Since 2012, Audrey Bazin is the Artistic Director of the Camera Clara Photo Prize.
